Medical package in Korea (medicalpackage.visitmedicalkorea.com) is a site operated by Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), an affiliate of the Ministry of Health and Welfare so that foreigners can easily search and use the information on Korean medical institutions, host companies, and medical products. It is designed to make it easy to search for medical service information such as healthcare information, health checkup, oriental medicine, cosmetic, beauty, etc. in the categories such as department, product, and region.

Currently, the website provide four languages such as English, Chinese, Russian and Japanese.

Medical institutions and medical tourism agencies must register with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, according to Article 6 (Registration for Attracting Foreign Patients) of the Medical Overseas Advancement Act.

- Medical institutions should have a foreign language coordinator, or be able to respond to foreign patients, with a guaranteed issue medical liability insurance (100 million won or more in medical clinics and 200 million won or more in general hospitals).

- The agency must have a capital of at least 100 million dollars with a guaranteed insurance policy (insurance amount of over 100 million)

Only the above conditions must be met before you enroll in the Medical Package Korea.

Foreign patients can directly search and contact medical institutions based on the information provided on the platform, thereby preventing illegal brokers from charging unreasonably excessive fees. In addition, our platform contributes to the international patients’ knowing right and medical options by providing each program expenses.
